Sunnyvale Baylands Park is a peaceful, quiet park tucked in between the Bay and loads of corporations. This park is a great launching place for a kid-friendly bike ride followed by playground time and a picnic lunch. From the main parking lot at Sunnyvale Baylands Park you can follow the Baylands Park Trail (which is paved) then take a left to get on the Bay Trail (smooth dirt). Like most sections of the Bay Trail, this is a serene marshy ride, and it was perfect for a 4-year-old who just got started on a pedal bike. Bike as far as you'd like, then head back the way you came to enjoy the awesome playground, or to wander around the trails within the park itself.
